About this project
This property cost us $210,000, and we budgeted our renovations at $44,500. The house was a single-family home when we obtained it, but we converted it back into a duplex. One unit is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, while the other is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom. we are proud to have this as our first rental property.
Completed $50k Rental Project
This was the pre-renovation layout and condition of the home.
This was the beginning phase of this project. Original flooring removed and a few walls demo'd out.

This blueprint depicts the layout that the home currently models after the improvements were made. The house was originally being occupied as a single family home that we converted back into a duplex, which was it’s origin state.
This digital floor plan illustrates what we imagined for this home. We closed some walls and upgraded to lighter floors offering a more open feel to both units.
